Tony ( is an award-winning author (and celebrated speaker) with more than 150 published books.  His books for teachers-to-be include Ace Your Teacher Interview, Ace Your Teacher Resume (and Cover Letter), and the forthcoming Ace Your First Year Teaching.  His “Ace” titles have received rave reviews from readers across the country ("Absolutely the best book out there for those of us searching for teaching jobs.”)

 As a former elementary teacher and reading specialist, he has also authored more than four dozen best-selling children’s books.  These include Desert Day, Desert Night, Under One Rock (2002 Nature and Ecology Award), A is for Anaconda, The Tsunami Quilt (2009 World Storytelling Award), and Near One Cattail (2006 Green Earth Book Award), among others.
